Our course offers those students with the necessary entry requirements the chance to explore in more detail what it takes to work in the digital technologies industry and the skills and knowledge required. Course programme

Students will explore many areas of Hardware and Networking during their studies on this 1 year academic programme:

  • How computer systems operate
  • Installing computer software
  • Hardware components
  • How networks connect people and computers

Students will be assessed by a variety of means including formal written evidence, producing wikis and blogs and also delivering presentations. We also assess students practical abilities using recorded evidence, both video and audio.

We aim to give students the opportunities to engage with employers within the digital industries sector. This can range from lectures and master classes through to a short placement of internship with one of the members of our employer advisory board.
