The harmonica player is the one who plays the harmonica by profession or for pleasure, a wind instrument, invented according to some in 1821, by the German Christian Friedrich Ludwig Buschmann and used especially for genres such as blues music, folk music and rock music, but also in classical music. The instrument basically consists of three elements: a central body (comb), two reed plates and the external shells (covers). The sound is produced by the vibration generated by the passage of air on the reeds, thin sheets usually of brass or phosphor bronze, but which can also be steel, fixed at one end to the upper and lower plates generally made of brass . The plates rest on a central body usually made of wood or plastic, more rarely in metal.
