Course programme

Such as oxygen deficiency/enrichment, flammable substances, and/or toxic gases and vapors, typically through the direct handling of such substances or when workers are exposed when the substances are released into the workplace from equipment or processes being used.

This course provides workers with an understanding of the characteristics of hazardous gases and vapors, and will provide workers with the knowledge and skill to protect themselves and others from exposure to hazardous atmospheres, atmosphere-sampling strategies, implementing control measures, and interpretations of data.
