Create your own unique show-stopping headpiece in a day. During this 1 day taster workshop you will be introduced to a range of different millinery techniques that will allow you to design and make a unique headpiece creation of your own.

You will learn through demonstrations and be shown how to use specialist millinery wires to make a structure from which to build your design on. You will embellish your headpiece with a range of fabrics and accessories before applying any essential finishing touches.

This dynamic and enjoyable course is suitable for both beginners and those who have a basic understanding of design and or sewing and who wish to develop their own ideas from 2D to 3D.

Includes morning coffee/tea and a complimentary lunch.

About this course

The course aims to:

Provide you with an understanding of designing and creating a unique headpiece
Provide a technical understanding of sewing skills required
Develop an appreciation of making a headpiece
Develop your appreciation of making a headpiece

No previous knowledge or experience is required, only a passion to learn and develop within the subject. Basic sewing skills will be helpful but not essential.
