This course is predominantly aimed at people already employed by the sector, who want to gain access to up-to-date knowledge and skills directly relevant to their area of work. Throughout the programme, you will develop a sound understanding of the principles underpinning the role of an HSC practitioner and learn different approaches to solving problems at work. The wider social, political and economic issues related to health and social care are also covered while in the top-up year, the focus is on the development of higher supervisory level skills.
