There are no formal entry requirements, but it would be an advantage to have a Level 1 qualification in a related subject or equivalent experience (e.g. work experience as a Health Care Assistant). You will need to pass an online assessment.


Assessment is by coursework over the duration of your study. If successful, you will receive a Level 2 Diploma in Health and Social Care (Adults) for England

You can progress to a Level 3 Diploma in Social Care or related field. You can also use this qualification to help you either start a career in Social Care, or progress to a more responsible position in your current employment.
