A BTEC First Diploma in Health and Social Care with a satisfactory reference and English, Maths and Science OR
A relevant Level 2 qualification with English and Maths or Science.

Assessment
Internally assessed assignments including essays, case studies, projects and work experience based assignments. All units will be graded at Pass, Merit or Distinction Level. Key Skills will form part of your final qualifications.
Progression
This course will prepare you for entry into employment in the Health and Social Care sector or for higher level study such as courses in Nursing, Midwifery and professions allied to medicine such as occupational therapy or physiotherapy.
Work Experience
A minimum of 300 hours work experience in arranged and supervised placements. You will develop your skills through supervised work experience placements in a variety of settings.
