Health and Social Care Level 3 Diploma

There are no formal qualification requirements, however you do need to be in a senior carer position or be working in a role that has considerable autonomy or responsibility. Course Content Qualification structure To achieve the Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care (Adults), students must achieve a minimum of 58 credits. There is a choice of three pathways that students can take to suit their current job role: • Generic pathway • Dementia pathway • Adults with learning disabilities pathway. How will I be assessed? You will be assessed in the workplace using several different methods including observation of practice, questioning and witness testimonies from senior staff. This is collected in a portfolio of evidence. Progression You can progress to employment and undertake other related occupational training in the workplace, or you can progress to university for training in nursing, social work, and other related professions.
