This course is designed to give you the knowledge and skills you need for a job in the Health and Social Care Sectors. These include the NHS, local authorities and voluntary and private organisations. So you'll be well prepared for environments such as nursing homes, residential homes for older people, hospitals and resource centres for people with learning disabilities.
You'll consider who may need care, what provision is available and, crucially, the roles and responsibilities of a care worker. - Five Standard Grades at grade 3 or above; OR
- Intermediate 2 Level at grade C or above in subjects such as care, modern studies, English, biology, maths or equivalent; OR
- Five National 5 level passes in subjects such as care, modern studies, English, biology, maths or equivalent; OR
