Course programme

The MSc Health and Wellbeing is designed to be a flexible and responsive course, meeting the learning and development needs of health and social care professionals. This student-centred course has been designed for those working in a range of roles and service contexts and is open to both experienced and newly registered health and social care practitioners. What will I gain from it? Knowledge and skills gained could enhance your career potential and directly benefit the organisations that you work for now, and in the future. The course emphasises the need to develop high quality health and wellbeing services for all ages across the health and social care sector. Through critical analysis of theory, research, policy and legislation you will be supported to advance scholarship and practice. A culture of collaboration will be fostered through the provision of opportunities to learn with, from and about others. You can undertake the course in stages initially working towards a Postgraduate Certificate then a Postgraduate Diploma, before completing your Master's qualification. If you do not wish to complete the full masters, you can choose to step off the course with either a Postgraduate Certificate or Post graduate Diploma, depending on the credits you have accrued.
