Health Care (Communication): A Distance Learning Course by BSY This Health Care (Communication) course is a distance learning course designed to provide students with the knowledge of how important communication truly is in Health Care. In order to appreciate the importance of this communication, students must explore all of the reasons it is necessary to communicate, how we can communicate, and if there are any barriers to our communication. Communication is essential to every aspect of work in a care setting, both with clients and with those who are significant to them. Furthermore, possessing a knowledge of sign language and the manual deaf/blind alphabet can be a great asset to anyone working in a care setting.
