About this course
Students will need to be at least 16 years of age and normally have at least 4 GCSE grades A-E, or for mature students to be able to pass a basic entry interview or have related work experience.

Assessment Methodology
You will be continuously assessed by the completion of assignments, which will be set throughout the academic year, resulting in the submission of a portfolio of work to the Examining Body.
Future Prospects
Students may progress to employment in the Care sector or to a higher level course such as 'A' Level Health & Social Care, or relevant NVQ courses such as Children's Care Learning and Development, Teaching Assistants or Health & Social Care.
