This course is aimed at care workers in the following settings:
Staff caring for 8 - 18 year olds:

• Residential Child Care
• Day Centres
• Community Centres
• Foster Carers

Course Content:

Completion of 8 units in total, 4 core units:

• Promote effective communication for and about individuals
• Promote, monitor and maintain Health, Safety & Security in
  the working environment
• Reflect on and develop your practice
• Specialist unit: Promote the well being and the protection of
  Children and Young People

Plus 4 units of your choice
