Healthcare Assistant is the person who supports doctors, nurses and other healthcare professionals. They ensure all types of physical and mental care for the patients. Throughout the course, you will explore the job duties, responsibilities of the healthcare assistant.
The course explains the various roles of a Healthcare assistant. A healthcare assistant can work with the doctors, nurses in hospitals or midwives in maternity services or in mental health, community or General Practice (GP) surgeries. Therefore, the responsibilities vary such as observing, monitoring and recording patients’ conditions by taking temperatures, pulse, respirations and weight.

You will learn the right ways of communication with the patients and their family member as they need to handle very carefully. Additionally, the course discusses the surgical equipment such as sterilising equipment and shows you how to take blood samples, etc.
Shortly, you will gain a general understanding that you need to know for working in the industry.
The Healthcare Assistant Training is open to all, with no formal entry requirements. All you need is a passion for learning, a good understanding of the English language, numeracy and IT, and to be over the age of 16.
Upon successful completion, you will qualify for the UK and internationally-recognised professional qualification and you can choose to make your achievement formal by obtaining your PDF Certificate at a cost of £19 and Hardcopy Certificate for £34.
