The Healthcare Improvement Project module offers resources to assist you in the practical implementation of an improvement project in your clinical area. The module systematically clarifies the steps required in conducting an improvement project and provides you with the planning, data collection and data analysis techniques required to implement a quality improvement project within your organisation.This module helps you to put the theory examined in the Clinical Governance module into practice in your workplace.It equips you with:Tools with which to analyse your clinical microsystem.Various methodologies with which to generate intelligent information andThe ideas about how to implement changes and work towards continued improvement.

If you wish to complete a top-up degree, please apply directly on the Nursing Studies programme webpage. You must successfully complete module CH3040 Making sense of Clinical Governance before advancing to this Healthcare Improvement Project module.
Entry requirements for BSc Health Sciences (online) programme:
- 120 Level 4 credit points and 120 Level 5 credit points in healthcare-related subjects
Entry requirements for study as a stand-alone module:
- Current registration with a professional and regulatory body (healthcare)
For those students whose first language is not English, the following qualification is also required:
- IELTS: 7.0
