Free HGV Training if you are unemployed and Living in the County Durham area and were over the age of 19 on the 31/08/2016, this course will give you a range of skills and qualifications to be able to pursue a career in the Logistics industry, on successful completion of the course you will be offered either FREE HGV training or Forklift Training depending on your preferred training option

You will achieve:
level 1 Award in Logistics and Transport
Emergency First Aid at Work
BTEC Level 2 Award in Health and Safety
Functional Skills Maths and English
Level 2 Equality and Diversity
Level 1 Award in Job Search and Interview Skills
Level 1 Award in Personal Development and Employability Skills

Anybody who lives in the County Durham area, is unemployed in receipt of Job Seekers Allowance, or ESA allowance and was aged at least 19 years of age on the 31/08/2016

This course is a 10 week course that is designed to give you all of the necessary skills in order to get into employment, at the end of the course we will pay for either your HGV Training Class 2 including CPC, Theory and your medical or Forklift Training depending on your preferred training option

You will be invited for interview and as part of the interview process you will undergo initial assessment in maths and english

Oracle Training Solutions Ltd and Wear Mini Mix Ltd (U.K. Truckmixer Training) have created our new Driving and Logistics Skills Academy. This is a free fully funded training programme to help people in the County Durham area to get back into work and gain the necessary skills and qualifications to make them more employable to prospective employers. The course lasts for approximately 8 weeks, which once completed, you will then have the option to take your HGV licence, Fork Lift Licence, ADR, HIAB etc. paid for through our Academy. You will gain the following qualifications and training that will make you more employable:

· Level 1 Award in Logistics and Transport

· Level 1 Award in Health and Safety

· Level 2 Moving and Handling

· Emergency First Aid at Work

· Level 2 Equality and Diversity

· Level 1 Award in Job Search and Interview Skills
