Description
HIC’s principals designed and oversaw delivery of the world’s first successful national health index, statistics, personal health summary, alerts and warnings system in New Zealand in the early 1990′s. They have played leading roles in the start up of six highly innovative medical schools in both the developed and less developed world and chaired the Standards Australia (Australian National Standards Organisation) expert committee on health informatics.
The insights, knowledge and experiences from these endeavours have been incorporated in a comprehensive suite of online Certificate and Diploma in Health Informatics programmes accredited by the UK Council for Health Informatics Professions (UKCHIP) and endorsed by leading UK Universities.
