COURSE OUTLINE
Morning - Brief on need for timely evacuation and rescue, abseil theory and practice, self rescue
using industry standard device, theory of unconscious casualty pick off
Afternoon - Practical Unconscious casualty pick off, hoisting / lowering conscious casualty.
EQUIPMENT REQUIRED
Outdoor clothing suitable for time of year. This could include waterproof trousers, a sturdy jacket, a hat (beanies available in on-site shop), thin leather gloves (also available in on-site shop)
Climbing specific hardware and personal protective equipment will be provided by Xi Training Ltd. If you prefer to use your own PPE kit during the sessions, all we ask is that we are able to see evidence of appropriate certificates of conformity and inspection records.
