This apprenticeship is suitable for those who are currently working within this sector or are looking to gain employment within this sector as a Software Developer, Database Admin, Network Admin, Technical Support Officer or Web Developer.

You will need to have completed an advanced apprenticeship or A levels (or equivalent). Alternatively, you should be able to demonstrate having held employment within the computing sector for a number of years. It is also expected that you will have a minimum of 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) at grade 4 or above (grade C or above) including maths, English and IT.

Additional information

As an apprentice, you will be assigned an assessor, who will visit you in the workplace to observe the tasks you complete. You will also complete a number of relevant work?related modules at the College. All of which will contribute to the overall success of your apprenticeship.
