Fee Waiver: If you are studying part-time and are in receipt of a means tested benefit or low income your fees will be waived. Proof of benefit is required and should be brought at time of enrolment. ILA Scotland funding is available for Higher subjects. You must have your ILA Scotland account in place prior to the start date of any eligible course. Aims:
. Full time Day students will select three or more core subjects at Higher / Intermediate 2. Each subject involves 6 hours of tuition. Students will also be allocated a guidance tutor.

Content:
Mathematics: Maths 1, 2 and 3
This Course comprises three mandatory Units, as follows:
Mathematics 1
Mathematics 2
Mathematics 3
The syllabus is designed to build upon prior learning in the areas of algebra, geometry, trigonometry and statistics, and to introduce candidates to elementary calculus.

Requirement
. Entry to Intermediate 2 requires Intermediate 1 or Standard Grade 3. . Entry to Higher requires Intermediate 2 (Grade A or B) or Standard Grade (1 or 2) or equivalent. . Guidance staff will be happy to discuss and take into account other learning or experience. . If you intend to resit a subject for which you already hold unit passes, please indicate this on your application form. In some subject areas we may offer exam only classes. . If English is not your first language you will be required to demonstrate English language skills equivalent to IELTS 5.5.
