Overview At a glance This qualification reflects the role of a variety of workers who use a range of factual, technical and procedural knowledge to provide assistance to Health Professional staff for the care of clients.  The role of a Health Services Assistant would involve direct client contact under supervision by a Health Professional.  Students are required to complete a minimum work requirement of 80 hours in a Health Care setting as part of their assessment. Application Mode Distance Courses/Units Fifteen units (15) must be successfully completed - seven (7) core and eight (8) electives. Availability Distance Education DurationThe training duration will depend on the electives and study mode selected as well as relevant academic and/or work history histories. Intake Dates Enrolments are taken throughout the year on a continuous basis.
