Course Aims:
Computer Generated Imaging (CGI) is a dynamic and evolving field used extensively in computer games design and the film and television industries. Our 3D Computer Animation courses are designed to give you the specialist creative skills sought by those industries. Using industry leading software you will learn to create realistic 3D models and environments and the virtual camera techniques to move through them.

, Groups will be given the opportunity to select from option units, such as Motion Graphics, 2D Digital Imaging, Sound Production, and other related topics.

Progression Opportunities:
Students successfully completing the HNC along with additional units, will normally gain automatic progression to year 2 of the HND.

Career Potential:
Employment opportunities may be found as story boarders, texturers,, environment modellers and in new media applications.

Course Assessment:
Continuous assessment through mainly project-based assignments., Individual and/or group assessments in written, visual or oral form as, required by the unit of study.
