Course Aims:
This course aims to develop your practical skills in beauty therapy, along with your academic understanding of associated science and essential underpinning knowledge. The course focuses on a wide range of beauty therapy treatments for the face, hands and feet.

Progression Opportunities:
Direct progression onto year 2 of HND Beauty Therapy or year 2 of a, degree programme in an associated subject.

Career Potential:
Employment can be sought within a beauty salon, health spa, leisure, complex, on-board a cruise liner or self-employed as a mobile therapis

Course Assessment:
The programme involves continuous assessment. Practical, competencies are usually assessed by a combination of case studies, and summative assessments, which are completed by carrying out, treatments within a commercial beauty salon.
