Learners are expected to gain voluntary or paid employment in care working a minimum of 600 hours over two years in order to fulfil the course requirements..

Career Prospects
These courses lead to a qualification which learners can use to enhance their career in the health and social care sector. It also provides a stepping stone towards further qualifications that may include topping-up to a BSc in Care Studies, which is offered at this College, or a degree in Social Work. Employment might be found, for example, in management of residential homes, project management or as development officers - the opportunities are endless.
