There are links with a number of Higher Education establishments and candidates may move directly to degree level courses in subject related areas or continue to year 2 of the HND award.
Career Potential:
Students may be employed as sports coaches at introductory level or gaim employment assisting in the development of sports and fitness programmeas. Flexibility across different sports and the possession of governing body awards will improve employability opportunities.
Course Assessment:
A range of practical and theoretical components will be continually assesed throughout the year. These include closed book written papers, assigments, oral presentations and practical observations of coaching.
