Two Higher Grade passes including Chemistry, Human Biology or Biology or equivalent qualifications, or an appropriate HNC qualification. A high degree of motivation and commitment in terms of study and application is essential.

There are no formal exams. Students are assessed throughout the, year via a variety of formats ranging from essays to experiments and, closed book tests.
