Course programme

This course will introduce you to Network Concepts and security, LAN and WAN technology, Network Infrastructure and Client/Server Operating systems. It will also equip you equip you with the necessary skillset to pursue employment in the general category of Network engineer/technician. The course is designed to encompass the significant technology developments that are taking place in the field of ICT in areas such as security, cloud computing, convergence of communications & IT and the real world web.


One academic year. You will need to attend College for 15 hours of variable, timetabled study per week, plus commit to undertake further self- study of at least 6 hours per week.

You will gain knowledge and expertise in subjects such as: Routing Technology, Networking Technology, Server Administration, Ethical Hacking and Intrusion Prevention.
