HND Graphic Design is an intensive, hands-on course, which is designed to help you develop your own personal conceptual and creative identity and prepare you for a career in the communication industries. In year one you will study across a broad range of disciplines to build your skills, and in year two, specialise in a specific area of interest. Throughout the course you will also develop an individual portfolio of work to start your professional practice or apply to University.

About this course
Students will have normally completed one of the following:* Foundation Diploma in Art and Design.* BTEC Diploma in Art and Design Level 3.* Access to HE in Art and Design or Media.* 2 A Levels at grade C or above or equivalent.We are happy to consider those who possess a high level of experience in art and design but may not possess formal qualifications. Those returning to education with life skills and experience in the workplace would also be considered.

What will I study on the course?
You will study a range of modules including visual communication, printmaking, photography, advertising, illustration, moving image or animation, contextual studies and professional practice. Teaching is tutorial-based by highly experienced practitioners, through seminars, lectures, workshops, critiques and gallery visits.
