This course is designed to provide you with the appropriate training for those considering a career in the music and media industries, with the emphasis on real world examples. This includes student involvement in a record company, working in finance, press, marketing, A & R, live event, sales, plugging and artist management.

Successful students may progress onto the Year 3 of the BA Commercial Music at the University of the West of Scotland.

Course Assessment:
Assesment is on a continous basis where each module is broken down in to seperate performance criteria. The main emphasis of the course is on practical assesment, however certain modules are project/research based and are assesed through submitted written work. Assesment will include mandatory Group Award Graded Units.
