Course ContentThe course is a taster course in the Italian language with some aspects ideal for holidaying in Italy.
The course will teach you the basics of the language and will give you confidence to use Italian in a variety practical situations. You will learn how to order in a bar, reserve a restaurant table, use public transport ask for directions and find your way around, useful in the popular Italian cities such as Rome, Florence, Venice and Milan
What do I need:
All you will need for the first session is a pen and some paper and the Tutor will then tell you about any textbooks etc that you may need.
This course will take place on a Tuesday at 10:00 at the Norden Community School. The course will be delivered by Paul DAlessandro. For further details please contact the tutor on 01706 345 346 or email Paul.DAlessandro@hopwood.ac.uk
The course will last for 10 weeks starting on the 19th April and will cost £80 for full fee payers or £25 concessionary (subject to employment status and income based benefits).
No entry requirements, as the course is aimed for anyone who would like to learning a bit about the language from a no knowledge base of Italian. It will also be useful for future studies in Italian as well as those who wish to learn the necessary Italian to get more out of their holiday.
