Course Description

Learn to animate the vital force within to bring mind, body, emotions and spirit back into balance. This form of therapy is excellent for treating illness, stress or injury. Holistic Healing is a useful tool. It is remarkable for relieving the distress and discomfort of pain.

It combines well with Physiotherapy, Kinesiology, Reiki, Aromatherapy, Reflexology and all other forms of treatment.

Qualifications

On completion of your course, you will receive two qualifications:

Qualification 1: Holistic Healing Diploma

Holistic Healing Diploma entitling you to use the letters SAC Dip after your name.

Qualification 2: ASET Level 3 Holistic Healing Award

This Course leads to an ASET Level 3 Award Certificate for successful learners. That means that it is independantly accredited at a level of learning equivalent to level 3 on the National Qualifications Framework (NFQ) for England, Wales and Northern Ireland (in which case GCSE's are at levels 1 and 2 and A Levels are at level 3).

The Award has been designed by a learning provider to meet specific learners' or employers' requirements and as such is not listed as a qualification on NQF. While the duration, content or assessment may vary from similar national qualifications, in accrediting the programme at level 3, ASET attests that its learning outcomes are at an equivalent level to a level 3 national qualification.

With this course you will have unlimited access to your own personal tutor who specialises in their field of study. It is your personal tutor's role to ensure that you receive constructive feedback and to deal with any queries you may have.

You will also have access to a dedicated and friendly team of administrators and course advisors who offer sound and professional guidance and advice when you need it. This ensures that you will never feel neglected and that you will always succeed!

Study Hours

You should allow at least 1 - 2 hours of study to complete each question paper.

Furthermore, at the end of each module there is a question paper which needs to be completed and returned to your personal tutor.

Assessment Method

After each lesson there will be a question paper, which needs to be completed and submitted to your personal tutor for marking. This method of continual assessment ensures that your personal tutor can consistently monitor your progress and provide you with assistance throughout the duration of the course.

• Evaluate the significance of Auras to the healer

• Examine the techniques of preparing and cleansing the Aura for healing
• Identify how ‘unruffling' should be carried out in the case of fluid retention
• List five instances when this cleansing would be carried out by the healer
• Analyse and discuss the procedure involved in taking an adult medical history
• Summarise addiction showing what advice you would give to an addiction-prone client
• Define your understanding of alcohol or drug addiction
• Discuss the meaning of depression
• Introduce and explain the ‘health of the healer'
• Explain how nervous tissue degeneration is associated with drugs, tobacco and alcohol
• Summarise the disadvantages of healing all day
