WHO IS THE COURSE FOR?
This course is designed for those dedicated students who wish to develop or learn new skills and obtain the VTCT Thermal Auricular Therapy level 2 certificate and level 3 Diploma in Health, Safety, Security and employment standards.

WHAT WILL I LEARN?
The course will include practical Ear Candling techniques with pressure point massage routine along with related theory, including subjects such as

• Professionalism
• Maintaining and Completing Client Records
• The History of Hopi Ear Candles
• The effects and benefits of ear candling
• The principles and procedures for ear candle treatment

Anatomy and physiology of subjects such as structure, function, diseases and disorders of the ear, nose and throat.

HOW WILL I LEARN?
Your progress will be continually assessed over a ten week period against the national standards and summative assessment of both practical and theoretical work is undertaken to ensure competency. This is achieved via independent assessment theory test papers & practical assessments of your skills to commercial standards.

In addition to this you will need to build a portfolio of evidence of work undertaken including the completion of tasks and 9 case study treatments.

On successful completion of the Thermal Auricular course you will be awarded your professional certificate in Ear Candling and your diploma in Health and Safety.

Additional Information

The course will involve 3 hours of College study for 10 weeks. This combined with private study of both theoretical and practical skills will enable students to achieve the required standards of the industry.
