This two day course is aimed at participants with some experience of looking after horses. Participants will be introduced to a range of equine topics which will give them a good understanding of horse welfare and husbandry practices. All sessions are based practically, on the yard, with structured, safe, hands-on delivery by qualified experienced staff. You will also learn how to excersice horses on the lunge.

Have some prior experience of handling or looking after horses. Suitable footwear i.e. a sturdy pair of work boots, waterproof coat.
