About this course
Four GCSE subjects at grade C [to include Maths and English] or a merit at a BTEC First Diploma in Hospitality or a merit at VRQ Diploma in Professional Cookery Level 2.
The ideal candidate needs to demonstrate excellent punctuality and attendance along with commitment to the course. Enthusiasm, communication skills and the ability to work with others is essential.

Assessment
As a coursework based qualification, the BTEC National Diploma is assessed by means of assessment activities, tasks and/or assignments. There are no exams for the BTEC qualification, however students have to meet specific deadlines which are set by the lecturing team
