We will expand and improve your planning, managing and organising skills, encourage you to be innovative and creative, show you how to carefully gauge client requirements, get an in-depth understanding into the industry, and to cultivate good contacts. You will emerge poised and assured and ready to put theory into practice.
Subjects you will study include:
• restaurant management
• marketing
• international tourism
• languages for hospitality
• events management
• licensed trade management
• managing people.
It is possible to follow a European hospitality management pathway by completing a placement a European country.
Progression:
This qualification gives you the opportunity to progress to a BSc (Hons) degree with one year's further study or to follow a career within the industry either nationally or internationally.
Entry Requirements:
In our experience in order to be successful on this level of course you will need one of the following:

Duration: Two years full time or three years part time
Business Benefits:
This course will equip future hospitality managers with the skills necessary for this industry. The course engages local hospitality employers in both the planning and delivery of modules.

When can I study?:
Full time approx 3 days per week at various times. Part time year 1,Wednesdays, 9.00am - 6.00pm
Are there any exams?:
Assessment includes projects, presentations, comparative study following work shadowing exercise, group events and reflective accounts. Some modules have in class tests as part of both formative and summative assessments.
