What will I learn?

This programme is an entry level qualification for those who would like to learn basic food preparation and cookery skills. This is a course that offers an introduction to the Hospitality industry for those who have no prior knowledge in the area.

How will I learn?

Students will learn on campus in the excellent training kitchen facilities. This course is very practical with a range of topics being covered including health and safety, food hygiene, preparing and cooking a wide variety of food stuffs and cooking using a variety of cooking processes.

On successful completion students may progress to the City and Guilds Level 1 Diploma in Professional Cookery.
