Hot mixed Lime Mortars LocationDorset Centre for the Creative Arts Course Overview Due to popular demand a second visit by Nigel Copsey on the history, production and uses of hot mixed lime mortars. Following an in depth introductory presentation there will be a chance to ask questions on the subject. The afternoon will be outside in the purpose built covered barn for a demonstration followed by the opportunity to try out the materials and techniques on a range of building surfaces. Nick Durnan has recently been using hot mixed mortars for fine conservation work and will also deliver a presentation on his experience.
