Course programme

  • This therapy has become increasingly popular over the last ten years. This hot stone massage technique uses heated stones on the client's body to massage and add warmth and constant pressure.
  • The use of stones can penetrate the muscle fibres to a deeper level than manual massage alone, allowing it to be more effective for your client whilst also protecting your hands.
  • The heat from the stones gently seeps through the skin and muscles, providing rapid relief to the client enabling them to easily relax and de-stress. Essential oils can also be used, along with lymphatic drainage and reflexology to utilize the thermal qualities of hot stone massage.
  • The use of cold stone massage is also taught on the day of the course. It is not necessary to bring any equipment with you as this is all provided on the day of the course.
  • This course is for therapists that already hold a massage qualification. We only allow a maximum of 6 students per class to provide the student with individual attention.
  • On successful course completion you will receive your certificate at the end of the day. A comprehensive training manual is provided for all students including marketing and insurance advice.
  • The course is accredited by the following professional bodies: Complementary Therapists Association, Embody, The Guild of Holistic Therapists, Complementary Medical Association and Federation of Holistic Therapies.
