Course programme

How to Interpret a Garden Visiting gardens is an increasingly popular and enjoyable pastime. All gardens will have a history to them, which may or may not relate to the existing garden. This course aims to enhance the enjoyment of visiting gardens by exploring information and strategies that are required to interpret clues such as topography, buildings, particular plants, statuary and design etc. This can lead to a greater understanding of how the garden has developed over a period of time. The course will be themed around particular gardens, which will be different to those in the successful April 2008 course, and will involve field trips to them. All-comers welcome. Start date: Monday, April 06, 2009 Start: 14:00 Days: 4 End date: 09 April 2009 Finish: 15:00
