HSE Approved Primary First Aid Certificate

Introduction

Aimed at persons at work nominated to be first aiders to satisify The Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981. This course is approved by the Health and Safety Executive and the syllabus covers the key requirements required by regulations.

Key content of training

• Resuscitation and management of the unconscious casualty
• Bleeding control, together with the causes and management of Shock and
Asphyxia
• Medical Conditions, Burns, Fractures, Poisons
• Details of current First Aid Legislation

Assessment

A qualified person will examine each candidate at the end of day four

Certification:

On passing the assessment candidates will receive a HSE recognised
First Aid certificate
