This course is mainly practical in nature with very little power point. The course may be mapped against other qualifications such as AED and CPR and Paediatric First Aid, for a small amount of extra work in hours saving you time and money to gain extra qualifications if required (Optional at extra cost if required).

About this course

There are no pre requisites for attending the First Aid at Work Course. Entry level is welcome. There is a younger age limit of 16 years old for this course.

All persons undertaking the certification should be physically able to perform CPR and take part in practical sessions.

Course programme

The First Aid at Work syllabus is designed to ensure you leave the course confident and competent to act as a firt aider in the work place.

The course content covered will depend on your own environments but will include aspects of the following topics and much more:

Incident Management in an Emergency
CPR
Breaks
Burns
Bleeds
Medical Incidents (Diabetes, Epilepsy)
Heat injuries (Heat Exhaustion and Hypothermia)

and much more.........

Additional information

The qualification is nationally recognises unlike some other providers who offer only internal certification.  After 3 days you can be awarded the equivalent of an A level.

We consider your learning to be the most important aspect of the teaching and not the other way around (we like to teach you what you want to learn not just work from a set package).

We can add other certifications such as AED, Paediatric First Aid or any other certificates (at separate cost) that can be mapped against this qualification and save you time and money on attending other courses.
