HTML provides the structure of web pages, whereas CSS typically provides the visual layout. Put simply, HTML is behind the the basic layout of the web page. Whereas CSS takes care of the style and presentation of the information on the web page. Combined together, they form the backbone of most web pages. Additional coding layers are then added to bring these web pages to life or create enhanced functionality. This course is aimed at absolute beginners that have never done any coding before. Early on in the course, you’ll learn what coding is, what certain types of languages are used for, specifically HTML and CSS, and the types of careers available through learning HTML and CSS.
