Here we explain the main parts of the syllabus:
- Basic naturopathy: history and definition of naturopathy, naturopath's professional role, three fundamental concepts, meaning of symptoms, health, disease, pathology and syndrome, vital energy (massage techniques for vital energy recovery, relaxation techniques).
- Anatomy and physiology of the human body: integumentary apparatus, locomotor apparatus, cardiovascular apparatus and blood components, respiratory apparatus, endocrine apparatus, digestive and excretory-urinary apparatus, nervous system, male and female genital apparatus, physiological elements (reflexes, learning, pH, gas properties), immune system.
- Biochemistry and chemistry: life chemistry (cells, atomic structure, chemical bonds, acids and bases, pH and pOH, buffer solutions, cellular transport), cellular respiration (oxidation reactions, lactic and alcoholic fermentation), organic molecules (glucids, lipids, proteins, nitrogen bases), enzymes, vitamins, glycolysis, Krebs cycle, fever and inflammation mechanisms.
- Homeopathy and officinal plants: history of homeopathy and theories, homeopathy and homeopathic examination, role of naturopathy, paraomeopathic therapy, basics of homeopathic pharmacology, principles of pharmacology and interactions, major homeopathic remedies, general homeopathy, food intolerance and dietary supplement (vitamins, trace elements, minerals).
- Iridology: anatomy and physiology of the eye, definition of iridology, anatomy and physiology of the iris, constitution and predisposition (blue, dark, mixed eye), structural typologies, signs, iridological zones and maps, self-examination, pathologies easily found in the iris and detoxification.
- Flower therapy and Bach: Edward Bach's thought and life, preparation of floral essences and preservation, preparation of the bottle, 12 healers, 7 assistants, 19 assistants, practical use of Bach remedies.
- Medicinal herbs: phytotherapy's origins, basis of botany, conservation and preparation of natural remedies, tinctures, hydroalcoholic solutions, macerated glycerides, extracts, infusions, decoctions and essential oils, medicinal herbs (more than 40 herbs).
- Eating and therapy with trace elements: elements of nutrition science, holistic nutrition, basal metabolic rate, carbohydrates, lipids, proteins, food-related disorders (cholesterol, hypoglycemia, diabetes, anorexia, obesity, BMI, allergies, intolerances), mediterranean and vegetarian diet, minerals and orthomolecular nutrition, Kousmine method, alternative diets (vegetarianism, crudism, sheltonism, macrobiotic, enzymatic, dysbiosis, diet of the blood group), biological fungus characteristics and main fungi used (mycology).
- Reflexology: massage bases, relaxation techniques, hands, feet and eyes reflexology, craniofacial reflexology and topography of the face.
- Physiognomy and Graphology: face, ears, forehead, eyebrows, nose, eyes, mouth, jaw, chin, wrinkles, hair, neck, gait, understanding the person's psychology through handwriting and interpretation.
