Description

This qualification is aimed at Learners who wish to gain a qualification using computerised bookkeeping or for those Learners who have some practical knowledge and skills and wish to gain an accredited qualification in the subject. Owners of small businesses may also find this qualification useful as it gives coverage of the basic use of commercially available computerised software, suitable for the production of small business accounts.

Course programme

Assessment is by means of an externally assessed 1.5 hours examination, plus additional printing time.

This qualification is aimed at Learners who wish to gain a qualification using computerised bookkeeping or for those Learners who have some practical knowledge and skills and wish to gain an accredited qualification in the subject. Owners of small businesses may also find this qualification useful as it gives coverage of the basic use of commercially available computerised software, suitable for the production of small business accounts.


Learners can progress to the Level 2 Award in Computerised Book-keeping or enrol on the Payroll qualifications. Level 2 and Level3 Administration qualifications are also available
