Home Page Configuration

  • In this module you will understand the new options in configuring the Home Page. You will be able to configure the Home page using the  new reporting Home page tabs and the previous Home page configuration (now referred to as a Classic tab).

Reporting Fragments

  • Reporting fragments will be introduces as well as the process to display a reporting fragment within a Profile as a Field Definition.

Setting Recursive Object Levels

  • For reporting capability in the dimensional data model use recursive object types to create sets of levels that will be reflected in the reporting framework for use by report authors

Defining Facts and Dimensions

  • Facts and dimensions are components of a dimensional data model which works well with crosstab and graphical reports (such as charts and maps)
  • Learn how to control which facts and dimensions are represented in the dimensional namespace for each object type that can be used by report authors in reports
