You will have four GCSEs at D or the equivalent but more important is a genuine interest in the subject.

You'll learn about different types of computers and how they are used. How to assemble them, install operating systems, configure them and use them to create Web pages, presentations etc.. This is about becoming a person who can create computers and computer content and not just use them.

Success is through successfully completing practical tasks under supervised conditions. The work does include a few relevant questions to check knowledge but there are no exams. Assessment is kept to a minimum to allow plenty of time for learning.
