Following on from our Emerging Market Bank Analysis course this intensive, two-day course is case study driven and focusses on the red flags or warning signs of bank failures. Some signs are common to both developed and emerging markets but many are uniquely pertinent to emerging markets and these will be the focus of this course. Lack of sophistication in terms of the regulations, poor governance,  political interference, dubious accounting regimes, weak economic environment foreign currency exposures are amongst the most critical. You will also learn what differentiates the banks that fail and don’t fail in difficult environments.
