17th Edition of the IEE Wiring Regulations for Electrical Installations (City & Guilds 2382-10)

This Level 3 scheme for assessment and certification is aimed at practicing electricians with relevant experience and is intended to ensure that they are familiar with the layout, content and use of the IEE Regulations BS 7671:2008. It may also be suitable for anyone requiring an understanding of BS 7671, although prior knowledge in basic electrics will be required.

Course Content

  • Knowledge of contents and use of 17th Edition Wiring Regulations and supporting guides
  • Definitions and recommendations for installations
  • Complying with all the current rules
  • Knowledge incorporating information of Electricity at Work Act 1989 and Health & Safety at Work Act 1974 (BS 7671)
  • Some design calculations are included, therefore a non-programmable scientific calculator is required (not provided)
