Course programme

This 10 day course provides delegates with the range of knowledge and skills to meet the competency requirements of Associate Membership of the Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment (IEMA). Once completed candidates may become Associate Members and use the designation AIEMA after their name.

By the end of the course delegates will be able to: -

• Appreciate how environmental issues evolve and identify how they can be incorporated into operational management.

• Outline practical ways an organisation can reduce its environmental impacts, both strategically and operationally.

• Determine the key environmental legislation, agreements and initiatives relating to an organisation.

• Design and implement processes for assessment and interpretation of environmental performance.
