IIA Certificate in Internal Audit and Business Risk

The IIA Certificate in Internal Audit and Business Risk is a certificated training programme, with a newly updated syllabus and format. It combines theory and practical skills to provide participants with a comprehensive overview of the internal audit function.

Participants at all levels will benefit from the opportunity to interact with other delegates and exchange experiences, and learn from real life examples and the latest industry trends.

The programme is delivered through a set of four two-day training workshops focused on governance, business risk, internal control, audit and assurance. There are no examinations and assessment is by way of Professional Development Logs and a Professional Experience Record.

The IACert designation is awarded upon successful completion. Those wishing to progress their studies further with a professional qualification should consider the IIA Diploma in Internal Audit Practice.

The Awards may also be undertaken individually, in isolation from the IIA Certificate - those wishing to participate in this way should register via our training course listing.

The IIA Certificate comprises of four Awards, two core and two optional*.
